Cove enemies are bleed resistant and hit like trucks, but they usually have pretty terrible HP. They also have emboldening vapors, which can help out with:Ģ: Burst damage. Which is great when you get hit by three bleed attacks in a row, or when one of the tier 2 champions gives you 8 bleed from one hit. They're one of the few classes that focus on blight, which is great for the low HP, high prot enemies that show up, and most importantly, the can remove bleed. Their blinding gas can disable both back ranks, shutting down shamans and groupers before they can wreck your team. If you're looking for advice on how to go through the cove as is, without changing the code, here's some things that worked for me:ġ: Plague Doctors are your best friend in the cove. I hadn't noticed that, I just figured the groupers were bastards. Interesting to hear that the higher tier groupers don't do bleed. So what do you guys think about the Cove so far? I had to take a break after losing three people just from the very first room I walked into, and then having another die in a second quest, both causing an abandon. Is it normal to be taking 5-9 points of damage per turn? Stuff like that never really happened in the other dungeons, so I wasn't prepared for it. Also the Pelagic enemies are not only fast but can hit hard, and that's even before those annoying Shaman start throwing out those buffs while also healing away much of the damage that you deal. This dungeon though, it feels like something is off, or maybe I'm doing something wrong.įirst off, I realize that the enemies are resistant to bleeding, but for some reason it feels like the majority of characters you can choose from have bleeding attacks and only a couple use blight. Not that they aren't difficult, but they are pretty fair. I was kinda annoyed because I'd been having fun with the other three dungeons so far. I need to vent for a little after some bad runs so I just wanted to see what you guys think about the Cove.
